So.
I filed this in US District Court a few days ago.
LETTER SUBMITTED TO JUDGE ED KINKEADE OF THE US DISTRICT COURT OF NORTHERN TEXAS, DALLAS DIVISION REGARDING...
Filed this one in the separately pending case before Judge Renee Toliver.
RESPONSE TO DEFENDANT'S, DWIGHT WANKEN, MOTIONS FILED IN US DISTRICT COURT NORTHERN DISTRICT OF TEXAS DALLA...
Now if you're down here and you haven't read the filings, I'd highly recommend your fingers do the walking back up there to read them. Read them in order. 1st then 2nd.
Seriously. Get back up there.
"Do you even remember when you first sold out?"
Best. Line. Ever.
Judge Kinkeade issued another stunner yesterday. You know, these are getting pretty comical.
I'll get it up for you in short order so you can have a good laugh too.
I don't know why, but all of a sudden I am having these flashbacks of Maxel "Bud" Silverberg.
Folks, I told you this was a blockbuster.
I just never imagined it could have been this bad.
On a lighter note, I'm looking forward to a very busy weekend of football, racing and playoffs.
You know, compared to some of the judges in this case, the replacement refs in the NFL look like they've got their act together.
Did you hear about the Saints fan doing double duty as a ref for the Saints/Panthers game? Yeah. Now that actually sounds just like this case!
Lots of racing going on this weekend.
I've got a full tank of Sunoco fuel, fresh tires and I am ready for the final laps of the Fifth Circuit brief.
**Hey Brady -- let me know if you'd like an autographed copy of this post to send on to anyone, OK? Seeing as how you and Henry Simpson love to forward my blog to arbitrators and judges, perhaps you'd like me to sign them before you send them on in a pathetic attempt to bias judges against me!!
As you have informed other judges, I hear you have friends in high places, like the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. I'm guessing you've got plenty of friends in high places. I suppose that selling out question could be asked of you, eh?**
Not me. I'm just a regular Joe. I've got friends in low places. Ain't got any friends on the Fifth Circuit. Or the District Court.
I do, however, have a Friend w-a-y up high. Praise God, He has seen me through all of this and walks with me, day by day! What a Friend, indeed!
"The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination,
How much more when he brings it with evil intent!
A false witness will perish,
But the man who listens to the truth will speak forever.
A wicked man displays a bold face,
But as for the upright, he makes his way sure.
There is no wisdom and no understanding
And no counsel against the Lord.
The horse is prepared for the day of battle,
But victory belongs to the Lord."
